Judy's Kindness Kitchen

Who We Are

Judy's Kindness Kitchen is a weekly soup kitchen run completely by volunteers.

Lunches are prepared each Sunday morning at Congregation Beth Sholom at 275 Camp Street (corner of Rochambeau) in Providence and served at Crossroads RI at 160 Broad Street  Providence RI 02903.  Food is also delivered to Emanuel House in Providence, RI

Volunteers can help prepare the food at Congregation Beth Sholom from 8:15-9:30 am, and help serve at Crossroads RI from 10:00-11:30.  We welcome volunteers of all backgrounds, religions and ages.

Children are welcome to help prepare sandwiches with their parents. 

To serve meals at Crossroads RI volunteers must be over age 18.

What We Do

Our mission is to establish a soup kitchen that: provides warm, nourishing meals to people in need; strengthens our Providence community by encouraging members of different groups to work together to fill a need; secures funding and a broad volunteer commitment to assure sustainability over the long-term.
