This program emphasizes practical strategies to manage falls.
As a COACH you will assist those with a fear of falling:
view falls as controllable
set goals for increasing activity
make changes to reduce fall risks at home
exercise to increase strength and balance
Who should become a coach?
anyone who wants to help others combat their fear of falling
anyone who enjoys helping others live more independently
anyone concerned about falls
anyone interested in improving balance, flexibility and strength
